CA nurse assistant in vegetative state denied care after being attacked at hospital

A terrible tragedy. I hope somebody can make these people pay.

These healthcare insurance companies make me sick.

So these aholes are both fighting over who will cover her bills and in the interim she and her husband suffer. The woman is in bad shape. Disgusting. My thoughts and prayers are with them during this awful time. Hopefully now that the story is out there one of these two scumbag corporations will be shamed in to doing the right thing for this poor woman and her family. I hope the hubby has a good lawyer.

that makes me so mad too. My heart goes out to her and her family. Pay-- someone should beat up the Insurance guy that denied her claims. That is what I think and eye for and eye lol.

Poor lady, cared for someone and now no one wants to care for her.

my gosh that is just awful, i can't believe that no one will pay for her care and the hospital is denying that it is related to work injury. i hope someone gets a good lawyer. i'd be going after that hospital, the patient and the insurance company.

Tragic story on so many levels...
-the general public has no idea what CNAs put up with
-she was afraid that she would lose her job because a patient hurt her
-the greedy insurance companies once again are obvious in their lack of regard for the American people but the sleeping masses are unaware
-the already disadvantaged are further disadvantaged and the sleeping masses are unaware
-a hard working woman has suffered a horrible reward
