Black nurses organize state association

  1. They aim to recruit, educate, reform

Besides working overtime supervising nurses in two of the largest hospitals in the state, writing and rewriting theses for their masters degrees, and caring for their families, Adrienne Thornton-Felix and Tonjia Reed have somehow found enough spare time to help launch a trailblazing African American medical organization in Minnesota.

i commend those two nurses for recognizing the need for recruiting more black females and males into the nursing profession since minnesota only has 500 black nurses to begin with. i, for one, wish them well in their endeavors!
