I don't think I have yet to work at a hospital that does not do a "wage survey" and then base its nurse salary's on the findings. So then what are they going to sue every hospital in the country????

Things are only going to change when we stand up and say no we are not going to work for that much. The thing is when someone does, there is a new grad or someone relocating that will work for that.

No, they aren't going to sue every hospital in the country. And hospitals can legally participate in a wage survey. But like most things, there is a right way and a wrong way of conducting a survey and if you do it the wrong way, you set yourself up for wage fixing charges.
