    The infection quickly spread - causing her to go back to hospital for tests that revealed her condition.

    Septicaemia set in her limbs, cutting off circulation and forcing doctors to amputate her hands and feet.

    my God, that is very tragic, esp being so young.

    So sad....in a follow up article I just read, she actually died this morning at 3 am...really sad..

    I'm glad she didn't have to eke out a few meager years of being a quadruple amputee on dialysis.

    Yes, I agree. We always want the best possible outcome, but if this was the best she could've had, then perhaps this outcome was for the best.

    Still, we always wish for that miracle, don't we.
