Question from a student on nursing management

Hi,I'm about to graduate in nine weeks so I'm almost there. My reason for being on here is because for my issues and trends course I am supposed to interview a nurse manager and discuss it on a discussion board and I thought this would be a great place to do so.
Here is my assignment:Interview a nurse manager who is responsible for budgeting. Include a question that asks how they prepared for this role. Share the responses to this question and others with your student colleagues. It will be interesting to see how many nurse managers have training in bugeting and what they have done to learn this role in management.
I'm not even sure of what all exactly a nurse manager does so if you could let me know what your job consists of and how or whether you've been trained to do so. Also, what are some of the greatest challenges you face as the manager?I appreciate all who respond.
