Med-Surge to Neuro Manager

by OCRN

I have been a Med-Surge clinical manager for the past year. I am considering applying to the clinical manager position of a brand-new neuroscience unit at the hospital I currently work. I do not have neuroscience clinical nursing experience but have had a successful performance first year as a manager. I'm looking for advice on a transition like this, words of wisdom about managing a neuroscience unit, anything you think will help me. Thanks!
