Intermediate Care Unit

I manage a 26 bed medicine intermediate care unit. I am revising the admission policy and would like to know the critera others who manage IMC's have in their admission policies.

Also, the bed charge for my IMC unit is the same as a med/surg unit. Is there any IMC that has a bed charge higher than med/surg. THanks to all for any and all input.
