Reckless Driving & Licensure/Employment

In 2010, I was pulled over for suspicion of DUI and blew 0.09 (limit .08). I got a lawyer and the charge was reduced to Reckless Driving, I paid a fine and took 2 driving classes. I haven't had any citations or issues since then (really learned my lesson).
Will my Reckless Driving citation affect licensure or employment? I will be graduating in May. Then I am looking to endorse my license in TX or CA and get a job in either one of those states.

Unfortunately, you were arrested for "DUI", and that arrest record will be permament. Doesn't even matter if it had been dismissed- that arrest for "DUI" will never go away. And you probably were charged with two or more offenses at the time, like "DUI", and having a BAC over the limit of .08. Also, the fact it was reduced, means little. Your criminal history will show you were arrested for DUI, conviction for reckless driving. It will be with you for life, and it will affect any license in any state, for life. You don't say what state you're in, but ore often than not- if you do receive your license, it will probably be either restricted, but even if not you will have a criminal record at your BON. TX and CA are a couple of the most punitive states as far as BON. So, in your original state you will face hurdles to obtain your initial license, then you will go through it all over if you want to move to another state.
