Contact and retain an administrative attorney to assist you.

Confirm this with your attorney, but if I recall Texas will allow you to expunge class c misdemeanors, depending on circumstance. Expunged records in Texas are completely destroyed. The state also requests the same of the FBI/DOJ record, and the FBI/DOJ will typically comply and delete the record. Note that the term ‘expunge' is often used interchangeably on this board with ‘sealing' a record. But in Texas, the end result of an ‘expunged' record is very different from a ‘sealed' record.

This will leave you with the assault charge, which your administrative attorney may be able to assist you with in your journey for licensure. However, at this point, you would need to be admitted into a training program and deal with their clinical placement requirements—in which case you will have to contact the schools regarding their criminal history requirements. Schools will have a list of charges and time-frames that will prevent you from gaining clinical placement. Sometimes these criminal history lists are posted on the school's website. If you have found a school, and they don't have their criminal history background requirements posted, call the school and inquire.

You have a very long, uphill road in front of you. If you really think becoming an RN is worth it, fight like hell and don't give up. You WILL NOT the only applicant with a criminal record. Your 43rd president had a DUI, and his vice president had two DUIs--long before they achieved great things. People can, and do change.

Good luck, and keep us posted.
