So, long story short, when I was 18/19 I received deferred adjudication for shoplifting. I knew better, but did not make the wisest decision. It is something that I've paid for (literally) and still today it haunts me. I made it into nursing school and will be graduating in December. I have yet to get it expunged but will plan on it in the future.
But when it comes to nursing job interviews, when should I disclose this information? I know I will have background checks and all but I was wondering if any of you have disclosed this information DURING the interview?
BTW I live in Texas and if any of you had experience with this here, please let me know. Thank you!
