I just started as a school nurse and we now have another position open. Northern California, 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, take care of 4 schools and each school has a health assistant! They want 3 letters of recommendation and you can apply for a school nurse interim certificate and take the audiometry class after you start (which I am hoping they pay for!) Pay is low, and not much guidance, but all in all its a job and the people are awesome. Plus you get all holidays and summers off. Message me and I can give you the info if anybody is interested. Yes they will take a new grad! It is a little over 2 hours away from San Francisco without traffic.
