Getting Endorced in a another state

Nurses Job Hunt

Wasn't sure where to post this.

So I'm licensed in a non compact state and we are moving to another non compact state.

If husband doesn't like his new job we will move back to the original state because we own a home and family is here.

I know I have to pay for renewals on both Licenses and I know I have to keep up "continuing education" in both states too.

My question is when I take a continuing education class which fits the requirement of both states, how do I get credit for both states with that one class? I haven't started my C.E.'s for next year cause I wanted to hear how you in the same predicament have done this.

In a word - "yes". You can submit the same CE course to both states if they meet requirements that are outlined in your BON rules. For instance, in my state, only initial ACLS certification can 'count' as CE, because subsequent re-certs are considered a review of previously learned material rather than new information.

Best of luck with your relocation.
