How often does interview=job?

I have no experience with actual job hunting. All of my jobs have kind of fallen into my lap. I have two job interviews next week, and I am SUPER excited and very very nervous! One is at a LTC facility and the other is at a chronic care hospital- vent dependent pts, severe alzheimers, neuro conditions, etc. Anyway, I guess I was wondering if anyone had a clue how frequently an interview actually led to a job! Kind of a dumb question I know, but I am obsessing about this.

I guess a better question is- How many interviews did you have before you finally found a job?

Interview does NOT equal job! That is in general for new nurse positions because of competition. With that being said, interview DID equal job for me:D! I interviewed on a Friday and was offered the position on that Monday. To have two interviews, you are a very strong prospective hire. You can do it.. confidence is key.

aaah! Not great odds. Well, today's interview went well and I will know by Monday either way. I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow. . . .
