I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this issue and what solution your institution came up with.
Thanks so much for any help anyone can provide.
So you must work in PICU? We just keep our paper notes then put in progress notes when we return to floor. Our computers are not wireless and they are on big heavy bulky carts that we have to push from room to room. The hospital just recently removed a huge metal door facing from sliding doors that were no longer being used. We had to heave-ho big time to push our COWS accross them. Not fun! I hear that we are going to get laptop in every room with wireless scanner. I hope to goodness we do. These things make it a lot harder physically. I actually prefer computer charting and med scanning.
