    interesting. We always dilute it....and give through a running iv. Not my first choice. We use zofran....then I'll ask for compazine as my next choice. Last facility that I worked at....we didn't use promethazine for exactly the reasons the ISMP alert stated.

    Our facility has a policy against giving promethazine via the IV route. We can give it IM
