I really want this position and don't want to compromise it. I'm only 4.5 months along but am already showing.
Any thoughts or opinions?

- Aug 28, '12 by Nurse ABCI would not mention it until after I accepted the job if offered. They are not allowed to discriminate due to pregnancy but that doesn't mean it can't or doesn't happen. If you get a personal interview don't make it super obvious you are pregnant either. It should be a non-issue in your hiring process.VictoriaGayle likes this.

You see several posts on here about nurses who got jobs while pregnant, but understand that while they cannot ask, you don't want to volunteer information.
If it comes down between you and another non-pregnant equally qualified candidate...trust me, they'll get the job. - Aug 29, '12 by NurseDirtyBirdYou may want to remember that in most places, you are not eligible for FMLA if you have not worked an entire year. This means in 4.5 months when you take maternity leave, your future employer would not be obligated to hold your job for you.Jory likes this.
