I got a call to set up an interview at holy name school of nursing in Teaneck NJ. Not too sure what to expect. Does anyone have any advice? or recall any types of questions they asked? any advice is greatly appreciated.
I actually was a student at holy name this past fall. Unfortunately, my husband's job was transferred so I had to withdraw (on good terms!) and relocate.
BUT I can't say enough wonderful things about that school.
My interview was pretty relaxed - we talked about my background (I'm 31 - second career for me), what made me decide to go into nursing, etc. It was very conversational. She had my transcripts and records out, but didn't talk about any specific grades or classes (phew).
We talked about the curriculum, what the schedule would be like, etc.
I don't know if this is true, but I've HEARD that generally, if you get an interview, you most likely will be accepted
Best of luck. You will love it there.
