David Blumenthal M.D., President Obama’s pick for National Coordinator for Health Information Technology is director of the Institute for Health Policy at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston), a practicing physician and also serves as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.

“He was involved in the Obama campaign, and all of us knew he was one of the individuals advising the president-elect on technology issues,” said Steven Lieber in an a March 23rd interview with Health Data Management.
