Help on Entry level informatics to start career

by dra9382

I am a brand new graduate with my BSN. I want to start my career into informatics. Can this be done by receiving a certificate in nursing informatics. I eventually want I get my masters in it, but I would rather get an entry level position instead of being a floor nurse. Any pointers in the right direction would be wonderful. Thanks

Welcome dra9382,

This is a frequently asked question. Please read what others have posted
on this forum.
You first need foundational knowledge and experience as a practicing RN prior to securing a role in NI.
Obtaining a Masters in this specialty also does not guarantee that you will secure a role.

Good Luck!
