Health informatics degree from outside of the USA

Hi! Im a graduate of BS Nursing here in the Philippines. I have learned of the field "nursing informatics" and became very interested. I like working with computers more than doing bedside care (I know, i know) I am a fresh graduate and have no experience yet. I looked up for any health informatics courses in the Philippines and fortunately I found a masters degree in health informatics, and another in medical informatics. I have a couple of questions:

1. Would the degree in health informatics in my country be honored in the united states? or would i be asked to study in the US again?

2. Should I first have experience in bedside nursing before i go into informatics?

3. Is there a demand for nursing informatics right now?
