by favormegod Oct 15, '12I have a BSN but have not taken my boards and at the same time I will graduating with a graduate certificate in Health information technology next May 2013. I am looking for a job in EMR/informatics field (HIT). Please any advice will be appreciated.

If you can sign on with a consulting firm to get some experience providing end user support during a go live, I strongly encourage you to pursue that avenue. Most informatics departments will provide on the job training but to have a basic concept of the more popular EMR programs available will also be to your advantage.
