I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

i mean, do st lukes qc has the same process with taguig regarding employment of nurses?

seriously?? hmmm...I'm just wondering if slmc qc still has the slot for pgnt this coming june or closed already..hopefully they are still calling applicants until now..

yes, the process for pre employment is the same for both qc and taguig...

hi kayern07, i would just want to ask if they will consider fit to work a nurse who has a scar on cxr? i believe that i can make it with the 3 phases of the training but i think i should worry on my cxr but i can show them documents that it was just a scar. do you happen to know someone in your institution who has been considered even though he/she has a scar on his/her CXR?

yes i do. don't be scared. ;)

Does it give you a guarantee that you'll eventually be in once you become one of their probationaries?

Specializes in Renal/Hemodialysis.

Being on a probationary status means that you are already getting the salary for your work (not sure though for the rates in GC) minus the additional pay and benefits if you are already a regular employee. Usually, some evaluations are done based on the institution's policy to check if the "probi" will be considered for regularization. Hence this is a critical phase.

can anyone help me about the FINAL INTERVIEW of ancillary nurse. Just give a hint please.

Hi! I did that i think 2011. Final interview for ancillary nurse and if im right, its with the gastro dept. unfortunately, i wasnt able to pass that. Haha. But the interview is just the same for any interview but the difference is that theyre going to ask if youre familiar with the procedures done in that dept. good thing i took a brochure while waiting to be called so i took advantage of the time and read the procedures listed. But i think theyre really particular with the experience because i didnt really have anything at all and though i got good grades and excellent board rating result, i wasnt able to get it. But thats just my presumption. I dont mean to demotivate you or anyone. Maybe luck's just not on my side or maybe its not for me at all. Btw, its a panel interview from my experience, and it will be like a hotseat interview because i think there were 10 people who were asking me questions. It started with a generic tell me about yourself, why slmc, the things you could contribute and i forgot about the rest haha then they proceeded to the procedure. If my memory is correct, i explained about egd. You should be able to tell them the materials needed, what its for, the method, before-during-after care. Everything about the procedure and you should be able to answer their follow up questions. I hope this helps. :)
