I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

GWA and class ranking are only required in SLMC-QC. Just go directly in SLMC-Global at manpower and staffing office in basement 1. They will just ask for resume and PRC rating only and will contacted you for your interview and exam. If your not familiar in slmc global just go directly at the lobby, just tell the guard your an applicant for nurse trainee thats it. Don't be afraid to ask as always.

THANK YOU SOO MUCH

Guys I have a problem, I passed my Resume + my rating in the security guard near S&R place if Im right. I did ask them if I can come in so I can head directly to HR but they did say that HR will not entertain me and its their protool to leave the resume at the guard/entrance. Now Im kinda confused and depressed after reading here that i should have enter the main lobby instead. Now do I still have a chance of being texted???? Shall I come back and pass another resume to the HR??? haha! and by the way Who's the Chief Nurse of SL Global now??? Tnx in advance ;)

I went at SLMC GC last Monday, they are currently screening applicants for Batch 5.. I asked applicants for interview and they already received text last Friday (October 5, 2012) for PGNT screening.

Are they really strict when it comes to Board Rating? So sad, i only have 79.2%, i hope they'll consider my 1 1/2 tertiary hospital experience for my missing .8 (4 questions) as I don't have any backer :(. Anyone who was able to work at SLMC GC with below 80% board rating? I hope they'll consider my application, If God's will it will, if not, need to accept and still trust Him:(

You will still be texted even if you submitted it to the security guard..At least, that's what happened in my case. However, I think they were still trying to fill up the slots for our batch that time, so I got texted on the same day after I submitted it to the guard because I was told the same thing when I tried to enter thru the employees' entrance.

For your own peace of mind, I think there's no problem with submitting again. This time enter to thru the lobby and go to Basement 1, Staffing and Manpower office. If you're not sure how to go B1 from the lobbby, you can ask anyone working there that you might see. Just don't tell them that you're an applicant especially if you will be asking one of the security guards because they might direct you again to the employees' entrance. Hopefully you will be entertained and will have more information about the start of the next PGNT batch. Goodluck and Godbless.

That's one of the first things they'll look at, your board rating. However if you already have hosp experience, it could be your edge as well regardless the grade you got on the NLE. I don't have a backer as well and actual hospital experience. I'm just fortunate that my board rating is in the line of 8's, maybe that's what they considered. We really don't know because they don't tell us their criteria for selection. My advice is that, try to follow-up your application or perhaps submit another one if you still haven't heard from them after about a week or two. Be patient as well. We will never know when they will text you. Lastly, consider other options. If it's not meant for you then it will never be. Like what you said, you trust His plans for you. I happen to learn that lesson before as well. Goodluck and Godbless.

hey undecided tnk us o much for ur reply! I think I'll just pass another resume at the manpower office... but is it really ok? my resume might be doubled... haha. Other than that, I dont see any problem. My rating is above80 and I had 3 mos. volunteer experience in a tertiary hospital in Marikina. I passed my resume last monday and its almost 5days still no text. is it ok? Im so eager to enter St. Lukes even if I have to pay. and lastly sir undecided... can u message me the amount of salary of a staff nurse in SL Global? well Im just curious, but I guess its just the same with other private hospital.

Some of my batchmates submitted an application twice. I don't think that will be a problem. Just give it about a week or two perhaps but its totally up to you. With regards to the salary, I don't want to discourage you but its not that high. Perhaps even lower than other private hospitals. That's just what I heard. But for us nurses here in the Phil, salary should be the last thing that we have to worry about. Just being employed in a well known hosp is already becoming a privilege and a huge blessing.

yeah I totally agree with you haha! experience is above all the most important. and dont forget the name of the hospital.

thank you so much for this trend! I learned a lot of tips.. I asked my classmate who is already in Batch 4 to pass my requirements today and HR told him that they will be screening applicants next week. I'm really crossing my fingers on this. I just want to ask about the previous batches, is it true that 100% of Batch 2 were hired? I did some backreading, and some of you got in pretty well. Can anyone confirm this please? :) thanks a lot again guys! good luck everyone~

The screening for batch 5 is ongoing. Good luck!:)Regarding your question, the batch 2 was not 100%. Not even my batch (which is batch 3) got such. One must pass the PGNT program first before being evaluated for hiring.
