Oct 1, '11Quote from matty2011hi! i'm still working as a company nurse.um, the BOSH training depends on the company you'd like to work for but most companies actually look for that. i don't have that training but had other trainings such as BLS and first aid which I think is very important in this field. regarding agencies, some big companies usually get their nurses from recruitment firms/agencies as far as I know.. well, good luck to you!Hi , do I really need to be in an agency to be an occupational nurse? Obviously you had experiebce or still a company nurse. Can you please give me an idea on how I can start that field? I mean do i have to attend trainings, lile people said here the occupational sumthing?. Thank you
May 31, '12Hi there.. Some of the companies nowadays requiring for BOSH training because it's advantage to them. They also require atleast 6mos to 1 year of experience either as same position or from hospital experience, especially call center industry. They require a high standard for their company nurse. So, it would be advisable to take first the trainings needed before applying for this position. Me, I'll be starting to work as Company Nurse in one of the largest construction firms here in Metro Manila. I got luckily accepted because of my trainings and experiences as well.
