I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

Ahh. Okay. Thank you so much cheezy_curls for the information.

May I know how is your training?

Please kindly share some of your experience at SLMC.

Thank you so much. God bless.

Thanks for the info! How was the training!?

When I was applying, I saw a group of trainees from the previous batch that they were being absorbed or pulled out eventhough they're just about a month in the PGNT. Lucky for them!

Cheezy_curls, can you give us an overview what PGNT is all about!?

How did you know that they were absorbed? I mean, were you able to ask one of them?

They we're lead by a nurse which I guess was a proctor!? They were asked to wait outside the HR room. One of them approached an applicant beside me, which I think they're friends. Then I just heard that they we're pulled out from the training.

I think they're about 10. All girls but one. :)

Hi guys! You can do some backreading to know more about the PGNT program. :)

As you all know, there are 3 phases. It will be discussed on your first day. Might as well wait for what the trainers will tell you because they might revise or change the program. Our batch is some kind of an experimental one. They might use the old ways, we'll never know. For now, congratulations to those who were initially screened and passed, and to those waiting for the SMS the HRD will send, good luck! Prayers can move mountains anyway. ;) I hope we'll bump with each other soon! :)

PS:

Just a tip, you must possess the right attitude because it is one of the biggest factors in passing the program. Know thy limitations, be humble and always maintain your dignity. Cheers! :)

Hey there.. if I may ask, from which PGNT batch are you? And what do you mean your batch is kind of an experimental one? Are you already absorbed as staff nurse? By the way I am one of the lucky ones who's included in the Batch 4 of PGNT at SLMC-GC and I am part nervous and part excited.. Hope you could share some of your personal experience/thoughts about the PGNT program.. Thanks!

First of all, congratulations! :) I'm from the previous one which is the Batch 3. Experimental? They always refer that to our batch. I think our CNEs can explain it to your batch soon. I'm not yet absorbed, I still have to undergo Phase 3 (OJT) for a month and they will absorb me if I pass the program and depends on the vacancy(ies).

The first 2 phases will be lectures/exams/ret dems and the third phase is the OJT. I cannot really share what we exactly had during the previous phases, I'm sorry. Just wait for the announcements of your CNEs because they might say something different. =)

Kayern07 and I are batch mates. Please do understand that we cannot share everything, because that will be unfair to others who is not able to see/read/know this forum. We really like to help all of you guys, but what we can share are just general info/s. You can do some advance reading, I believe that it will really help you. ;) Good luck and God bless! :)

Thank you kayern and cheezy curls for those info. We really appreciate it! I think we're just eager to prepare ourselves in regards to PGNT that's why we're full of question. And I agree that you shouldn't divulge too much details on the whatabouts of PGNT since it is every trainees' responsibility to do their best during the training. #IThankYou! LOL
