Hey! Was it your initial or final interview? They usually text you within a week after the interview. You can always follow up your application with the HR office. ?

it was my initial interview. How will i follow up my application? and doesnt that mean that i am not qualified because they didn't text me for another interview.if so. is there any chance that I can reapply in that hospital?

In my case, I was immediately informed of the schedule of my final interview right after my initial interview. I would advise you to clarify the status of your application with the HR by going directly to their office 'cause they usually entertain questions about your application. Good luck!

Hi I am currently staff nurse in one of the big tertiary hospitals in the quezon city, a 500 bed capacity hospital. Assigned in Operating Room. I have 2yrs of work experience but as a contractual. I have 1 month experience in ER, 2weeks at ICU and 7 months at ward. 1yr and 5months at Operating room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Specialized at almost all procedures, Neurosurg/GenSurg/OB-Gyne/ENT/Optha/Plastics/Nephro/Ortho/Laparascopic procedures and knows a little of diagnostics. We usually have 15-30 surgical procedures per day.

My Board Rating is 80+. I want to apply in SLMC-GC as PGNT.

Are they still open and accepting applicants?

What are their requirements?

Is BMI really important to them? I computed that i was 2-5kg overwt.

How many days or weeks will they call you after you sumbitted your requirements?

Does Having COE or certificate of employment gives you an edge?

When will be their next batch of PGNT?

Im really interested in training and working at SLMC-GC specially in their operating room.

Thanks for the reply people!

Hi guys. I'm from batch 10 were done already with the pgnt, nset and isf. As far as I know Pgnt batch 11 will start this june 2014, there are already list of applicants waiting for the start of their pgnt. So if you ever pass your applications as of this time I think you will be considered for batch 12 already. Yup, their very particular with your board rating and the way you talk in ENGLISH! during the hr interview speak fluently and effectively in english, you should really be able to express yourself in english. I think their strict to that since most of our patients are foreigners and socialites. Bmi is also important but only be screened AFTER you have finished the pgnt, nset and isf program and you are already for medical/deployment.

Credentials are a part but not I can say an edge when undergoing the pgnt program. All of you are going to start form scratch and you will learn the st lukes way. That's all! Good luck guys!

Is there any assurance that you will be hired or will work as regular or even probationary anytime soon?

Thanks!

PGNT: no assurance, it's an external training- skills, knowledge and ATTITUDE wise

If you pass the pgnt program then you're for nset/isf

NSET/ISF: you are halfway there. You are secured that you are going to be part of the pool BUT there is no assurance when will be the deployment date since all of you are waiting for vacancy. deployment takes as early as 1 week - 3mos.. Worst is 1year
