I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

Good Day kayern07.So you mean that after 'passing' the program, they will consider you to be their staff nurse then proceed to the next level or just for manpooling? is there someone in the previous batch that are already working as a nurse? or there still a lot on the shortlist waiting for their turn? For my own opinion, its kinda frustrating even after you trained, paid all the program, spent money everyday, and passed, after all, theres no assurance for you to be hired...thank you everyone! all my respect for those in the PGNT! i salute you!:)
In our batch and with the 2 previous batches, after being able to pass the PGNT, medical, all the requirements needed by the HRD, we will be having different seminars before being a staff nurse so I can say its not for manpooling.

However, the batch after us is having a different case. After passing their PGNT specifically phase 3, I think they will have a vacation first in order for SLMC to prepare for the upcoming JCIA accreditation. They would always tell trainees that they don't have an assurance (even with batch 1). But as what I can see, trainees who passed before us are already working as staff nurses (probationary).

Hi mrjoey! Yes. After passing the program, the medical, and the requirements needed by the HR. All of those who qualified from the previous batches are already walking as staff nurses. Our batch is just having some inhouse training/seminars before being deployed in our areas respectively. As for the batch after us, they are informed that their hiring date will be on January 2013. That I don't know. Maybe because SLMC will have to go JCIA accreditation on November.

Everyone was told during the interview that there is no assurance to get hired but where are they now, they're working already. :)

thank you kayern for giving me a view on whats with the PGNT... yeah, your right, i might take the risk as well...

GODBLESS us all! More power to the PGNT nurse!

:)

Hi guys I just wanna ask if I passed my reqts. before a new batch started and I was not selected to be part of the new batch, will my reqts. will be disregarded already?

Correction: *working as staff nurses, not walking. my bad. hehe! good luck @mrjoey!!! :)

@Ar-en, that I don't know. I'm sorry. Just try submitting requirements once again.

thank you :)

Hi to all, I am new here. I just want to ask if when you successfully finished the 1 month training, are you going to be given a certificate of training? After that 1 month of training what happens next, can we still proceed to another months of training? Do we still have to take another exam and interview again for the next new training? Thanks

after the didactic phase, you will be given a certificate of attendance. then after the ojt phase, you will be given a certificate of completion of training. :)

I passed my requirements at SLMC QC last September 20 and planning to pass at GC i hope by next week, Im from province. By the way, someone called me around two days after passing my requirements, from a number i don't recognize, i hope it's not from SLMC. :-(

Where's the HR in SLMC-Global City located? And what are the requirements if I intend to apply? :)

I think SLMC informs applicants thru text. In your case (living in the province), you can maximize your day by passing requirements in all the hospitals in the Metro (within the day) so that your travel will be worthwhile. Pass your requirements now, I think most of the hospitals are accepting applicants.
