I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

I will try to ask our head on Thursday and post the location here. :)

Orientation will be at 8.30 in MPS room, just what Ms. **** texted awhile ago. =)

hi. i took the Initial screening today (August 2, 2012). I took the IQ exam and thereafter they asked me to go back at 2 pm for the HR interview. After my interview, we were asked to wait outside. They called three of us back (out of the 4) and they told us "we will inform you if you are in... give us a week or two." . Does this mean I didnt make it? Thanks

Unfortunately, all the people I know who were told by that failed. Some were informed that they failed while some were never contacted anymore.

hey kayern07! I thought you're with us in batch 4, haha. So are you from an earlier batch? Actually they said that we are 102 in all but a few were not able to attend the orientation yesterday and some others might not surely commence on Wednesday so the total # isn't final yet I guess. And if I may say Batch 4 is a fairly large group, haha.

A pretty large group for our batch! Kaching for SLMC-GC. hehehe

@desperateRN haha really? :) Yup I'm from batch 3, with cheesycurls. We are currently in our Phase 3-OJT. The DCA must have been surprised to see how many you were yesterday. Do your best guys! God bless you all! :)

Hi Guys! just wanna thank everyone who posted here especially those who answered my questions. This thread is really helpful for all of us who wants to be part of the PGNT. And I can say that I owe it to you that I'm part of batch 4 because the info that you all posted here indeed helped me decide to submit an application. Just wanna share my experience... I submitted my resume on July 31st and was texted the same day to report for the initial screening the day after. We took the IQ test and after was interviewed by one of the HR staff. I don't know but for me, it seemed like the interview was just a sort of formality rather than a screening. It looks like once you passed the IQ test, most likely you are already accepted as long as you are able to answer the questions in English decently. Because the questions are just about your resume and your family. I was expecting more challenging questions (I had interviews in Call center companies previously and they asked you questions which will really test you critical thinking and communication skills). I might be wrong though, but as long as you can explain your answers clearly in English, you should pass that interview. We were told that we made it 3 pm of that same day and were asked to attend the orientation on Friday. I was really surprised by the # of nurses who were there. I was not expecting the group to be that big. We were 90+ who attended and say perhaps 10-15 decided not to continue the final group will still have at least 70-80 members. Well I guess the more the merrier. One more thing, looks like they have not decided yet whether they will still have batch 5 again because of the huge turnout for Batch 4. But for those of you who wants to apply just submit your resume still. Submit it directly to the manpower office not to the guard on the employee entrance (You have better chances because your application might be processed right away). Enter thru the main lobby so you can go straight to the office in B1. Godbless us all nurses!
