are lpns recognized in the philippines?

[color=#2c2b2b]because the amended nursing act of the philippines (2002) accepts only graduates of the bachelor of science in nursing (bsn) for the nursing licensure exam in the philippines, lpns and associate degree (asn-rns, adns, gns) diploma holders are no longer qualified to practice nursing as a profession. however, several major hospitals and medical centers in the philippines have recognized the excellent bedside nursing skills of well-trained practical nursing graduates and have employed them in various positions in their health facilities.

but this doesn't mean that lpn and asn grads cannot work in the us or anywhere abroad. lpn schools in the philippines, ppts particularly, are accredited by tesda, a government agency responsible for licensing vocational courses. except for ca, most states in the us do not require a professional license. they only require that the school is accredited by a government body.

I had a day job here, so I studied 4 hours a day when I was doing my online. I had to quit my job when I started doing clinicals. The Clinical is very challenging. We are already doing tasks that RN's here are also doing (except of IV meds). We also have daily assignments
