Anyone here worked at PGH before? Looks like they're hiring. While waiting out the retrogression, might as well, right?... Read More

Hi reshin, I'm new in this thread. I'll have my PGH panel interview next week, aug 28...with the instructions given,I have to call a day before the interview date at 10am to verify it... I just want to ask if I really have to call them a day before or is it okay if I'll call them tomorrow instead? Other option, can I just go there personally to verify the interview date? Thank you

    Hi jio_calma

Yes you really have to call them a day before to confirm. You don't need to go there personally to confirm because Ms. C will tell you on the phone whether your interview will push through or it will be rescheduled..

    Good luck!

Hello thorabeech, thank you for your reply. I just called now, unfortunately, the panel interview was cancelled. Mam *. said that she'll just send me a text message of when it will be rescheduled.I decided to call because aug 27 is declared as holiday.

I really wanted to work at PGH. I think most nurses here would want too.

    Thanks again and God bless..

I just passed the NLE 2012. Lucky me! I want to try my luck here at up-pgh. Should I wait for their announcement on the release of dean's form or go straight to DNET office? thanks for your help.

Hi Jio, I did the same thing last August 24. My initial schedule for the panel interview was July 7. I was told then that I had to call them back on August 27 to confirm my schedule. Unfortunately, I was informed that they are still dealing with back logs in the panel interview schedule and that they would just notify us via text message or call when they have finally come up with a schedule. I was very sad when I heard this because it would mean waiting longer just to work at PGH as staff nurse. I guess longer wait time is something that we really have to bear with, it's just that I don't have much time left before I file for my 2nd license renewal again.

Are you planning to join the paid training or you're planning to apply as staff nurse? If it's the latter, you can go directly to the Dean's office so you can get a schedule for the nurse practice exam. Don't forget to bring 2x2 pic in white background, cedula, certificate of board rating with breakdown of rating per each subject area and/or claim stub for your license, P300.00 for the exam fee and updated resume.

The last time I saw the bulletin to check for my exam result, I noticed a couple of other exam results for the previous months still posted...so I think you still can see the result for July 6 exam. I might still be posted.

Hello. I'm new and I've read some of the posts here. A relative sent me a link leading to this site. I, too, just recently passed the NLE and is currently unemployed. One suggested that I should try out a training that the PGH is offering. So I was wondering what would be the requirements needed, how to apply for that training, how much would be the fee (it is said that it's a paid training), how long would the training last, how long would an applicant normally wait for the "go signal", and in what areas would he/she be rotated if ever he/she is accepted. Thank you.

thanks for the info. I got confused with those two options. Can I really apply for the staff nurse position even though I have no clinical work experience?

You surely can winkies. I have no clinical experience when I took the Nurse Practice Exam (the qualifying exam for staff nurse position) until now.
