FAQS TO DISCUSS AND REITERATE THE PROCESS OF YOUR POST-SELECTION. FOR ALL SELECTED STAFF NURSE AND PARAMEDICAL POSITIONS FOR MOH MAY 2013 RECRUITMENT

IREKRUT MANPOWER, INC. ADVISORY TO ALL SELECTED STAFF NURSE & PARAMEDICALS POSITION MAY 2013

First of all, we would like to congratulate you for passing the Licensure Exam of the Ministry of Health of Oman and being selected by the MOH Committee during the interview. We are now issuing this ADVISORY in the form of FAQs to discuss and reiterate the process of your post-selection.

What is the WAITING PERIOD?

Representative of MOH - the waiting period is minimum of six (6) months. During this time, MOH will be lining up all the selected staff nurses and paramedical positions to the available vacancies from amongst all the government hospitals in Oman.

The work assignment is in the various government hospitals of Oman located in its different regions.

A Selected worker may not choose his/her work assignment but rest assured that the work assignment is in a hospital.

MOH will be basing the work assignment to the particular area of specialization of the staff nurse or Paramedicals vis-a-vis which hospital has the requirement.

Please communicate with IREKRUT any CHANGES on your CONTACT DETAILSs.

When do I tender my resignation from my present job?

DO NOT RESIGN from your work until a VISA is received from MOH-Oman to be advised by IREKRUT.

If you are not currently employed, MOH requires that you be employed during the time that a Visa becomes available to you for the reason that they discourage their workers to be out of practice for six (6) months or more.

There will be enough time for you to tender your resignation to your employer after the Visa is released because travel ticket is usually issued 45 days after receipt of Visa.

What documents do I need to authenticate with DFA?

1.High School Diploma

2.College Diploma (BS Nursing) + TOR

3.All Local Employment Certificates (please see attachment # 2 for the affidavit form)

4.All Foreign Employment Certificates (if KSA, authentication is directly to DFA) ; all other countries - please have certificates authenticated in the Embassy of that country

•PRC Certificate / ID / Rating no need for DFA-authentication. Make sure your PRC ID is not expired.

Do I need to furnish iRekrut copies of my authenticated documents once done?

NO NEED. All authenticated credentials will be hand-carried by you upon deployment.

Upon arrival in Oman, your papers will be processed in the MOH Headquarters where you will be asked all these documents to be submitted to them. Please have available copies of all your documents including PRC credentials ready all photocopied using A4 paper.

Do I need to start the authentication of my documents now?

YES. It is better to start the process now as some credentials like school diplomas take a long time.

Do I need to authenticate my documents again with DFA if it is already authenticated?

NO NEED. MOH-Oman accepts authenticated documents with DFA no matter what date.

What other authentication is required on my documents?

Authentication with the Oman Consul. This will be done ONLY when a Visa has been issued to you. There is no need for you to proceed with the authentication with the Oman Consul for now while still waiting for your Visa.

But by the time you will authenticate with Oman Consul, all DFA-authentications should have been completed as the Oman Consul authenticates on the red-ribbon documents. Authentication with the Oman Consul takes only a day.

IREKRUT will give you another instruction with regards to Oman Consul authentication at the proper time.

Do I need to submit my lacking documents to iRekrut?

NO, For Certificate of Employments

YES, for Passport.

Once you are already advised to do your medical exam. Passport must be submitted to iRekrut

This should be a priority requirement that should be submitted.

NO, For High School Diploma.

No need to send a copy, just proceed with its authentication with DFA and hand-carry upon deployment.

NO, for Pictures.

If you were unable to submit the required passport-size pictures, IREKRUT will advise when there is a need for this to be submitted.

When do I take my Medical Test?

IREKRUT will advise you when you will be referred for Medical.

Only when IREKRUT gets an advice from MOH-Oman do we proceed for the Medical.

IREKRUT will be the one to refer you to the accredited clinic.

Only those issued with Fit-to-Work Medical Certificates by the Clinic will be eligible for deployment to Oman.

What is next after I pass the Medical?

IREKRUT will advise MOH of the result of your medical.

MOH will then proceed with the application of your Visa.

We will then wait for the VISA to be sent to IREKRUT.

As soon as IREKRUT receives the VISA, we will contact you for the final processing of your deployment papers.

What happens after we are advised by IREKRUT that we already have a VISA?

Please CONTACT IREKRUT for the next procedure as follows.
