CETN means you are a trainee for 1-2 months. After completing CETN you will be considered as PROBATIONARY NURSE for 6 months, probationary nurse does not guarantee you to become a staff nurse. After your 6 months as probationary nurse you will be evaluated based on your performance, if you performed well then thats the ONLY time you get HIRED as STAFF NURSE.

This is what I meant. lol

Are they still accepting applicants? I'm thinking of submitting another set of requirements for the second time. :|

The current batch of applicants who are about to take the CETN will not undergo probationary period. It is a direct hiring. Meaning after CETN, applicants will already be staff nurses. That's what the HR told us.

Yah, I know but we'll just wait and see. btw, the CETN really only lasts about 1 - 2 months since the start of the year. Maybe it was 2011 when it was 6 months but Im not sure because the 6 months that I only know of is their probationary period which lasts about that long.

Yes that only applied for the previous batch, doesn't apply anymore to the current batch of applicants.

I had a friend who called up the HR just today. As of now, the HR isn't accepting applicants. They said that they will resume after 2 weeks.

6 months is the probationary period since your batch will be a direct hire but within those 6 months, there would be 1 -2 months of training since all will be new to the processes of MMC but the difference between this upcoming batch and previous batches is that this upcoming batch would not need to pay anything and they would already be paid for their services. PLUS since this batch will be a DIRECT HIRE and makati med DOES NOT HIRE in Nov and Dec and to top that there are still previous CETNs that are not yet hired, I am guessing that interviews may happen in Nov or Dec but the upcoming batch will most probably start by Jan or Feb. Once again, these are just my speculations and we will be more enlightened once the upcoming batch will have their interviews. Goodluck to all :)

no contractual or probationary period? you mean you will be a regular employee once you finished CETN?

Well that would be great if that's the case. Let's call HR to ask about that. :)

I already called the hr dept last week and she told me that the processing of applicants is not yet finished so just wait, i'm afraid that i might have failed the interview? Thus anybody here got the same situation?

Does MMC still accept applications? I want to go there but I want to be sure whether they will accept or not. I don't want to phone the HRD 'cause I often experience that they say no through phone call but still accept walk-in application.

RN heals batch 3 will be finished by December due to lack of funds. :(

Please enlighten me.. Any reply to my inquiry will be a great help. Thanks in advance...

Please do go and inquire by yourself personally since we may say that they still accept but when you arrive, they may have already closed the acceptance of applicants. Diligence and perseverance is needed to be successful in life.
