hello!

Can anyone tell me how long does it take to process an application in Makati Medical Center? Because Im planning to submit my resume this month of november...

And are there any special requirements that i need to have before applying?

I need some infos...:typing

Thanks!

Hi guys. To those who were called for exam and initial interview, can you please share some pointers regarding what to study for the exam? I am scheduled for the exam and interview on monday and I have no idea what to study :(

You should be prepared at all times.

Hi! Maybe I could enlighten you guys a bit from my own experience.

Exams:

50% is IQ test, 50% clinical. Situational board exam type clinical questions

Interview:

Perhaps ANYTHING under the sun that covers nursing. From PathoPhysio to ethics and everything. Don't study. I tell you. You'll just block out.

IVT is not a requirement. There's still a training for that once you get hired.

Passing the CETN program is a COMPULSORY TRAINING before getting hired. This is what they told us during our CETN days and probee days.

NLE 2012 passers are welcome to apply. Just as long as you get your licenses, board certificate, board passing and board rating from PRC.

What's the difference now that the application process is under the HR instead of the Nursing Department?

And btw, just want to ask. I passed my application last Friday. The guy who was in front of me was told that he can take the exam on Monday. But when I passed mine, the girl just told me that all the slots are full and they'll just contact me within 2weeks. But if I wasn't called, then I wasn't considered for the exam. I just don't get it. Do they have any requirements/screening just by browsing over the resume!?!?!?!?

what did you pass to HR personnel?

From what I know, they consider you for qualifying exam if you came from a reputable nursing school or one of the top performing nursing school.

Hi Everyone! I also submitted my resume at HR. Hmmmm...I haven't received any call until now. Anyone who submitted his/her resume and has been called? I also called the training department and asked if I still need to submit other requirments other than the resume but they said that I just have to wait for the call/text from HR and need not submit other requirements and if i passed that would be forwarded to them. hmmm..Are they really going to evaluate us based on just passing our resumes. hoping that they'll contact us. I didn't know that some of you submitted some credentials since I just have read their ad at jobstreet and the only requirment written there is resume. Haist! Any reaction? :)

If you dont mind me asking..did you graduate from the top 15 or 20 schools in the country? Because if not, then that must be the reason why. From what I know, graduates from those schools are the ones only being considered.

Actually, yes. My school is actually a center of excellence for nursing. hmmmmm

May I ask when did you submit your requirements? I submitted mine on a Tuesday and I was called Friday the following week. So that was after 8 working days.

I hope so. Thanks btw.

I wasn't even told to wait for a call. The HR wasn't there when I passed my requirements, the guy just told me to place it in the box.
