@ sir dinx ... Hello there sir... Just wanna ask, did you sign first the job offer before your medical or vice versa? Because the agency told us to have our medical first then if fit to work, next step visa processing, then the final job offer will be seen. I don't know why the agency having a hard time to present to us the job offer, the fact that we should review first the offer of the employer before we proceed to the next step, is that right sir? So that we have a choice if we will pursue our application or not... The agency told me that 850 US dollar is the basic salary, but for the other benefits like OT, night diff, etc, they don't know, she said to wait for the final offer, but we have to do our medical first...I also want to ask you, the time when you signed your job offer here in Philippines, is it only the basic salary that is indicated in the offer? And what about the other allowances like OT, area of specialty, night diff, etc , did they also included it in the offer Or in Kuwait? Thanks for your reply

first and foremost, the agency should have your visas in there hands before they will let you do the medicals, the reason for this is your medical result might expire already and your visa is not yet available so it is jus a waste of time and money.

We signed the job offer as soon as we were declared fit to work. During our hiring process, we were advised of the offered salary and it was the exact salary we signed in the conract, but there is no breakdown as to the basic salary, night differential and other benefits. We only came to know the breakdown when we started our formalities here in Kuwait. What the Philippine agencies advertised regarding the salary offer was what we got.

@dinxWhen you arrived in kuwait, how many days before you started your duty? Do they conduct trainings before you start your duty proper?

@ sir dinx, I just want to ask if it's possible that the agency will be the one who will make the job offer letter instead of the employer? Thank you..

Hi Guys! I'm a newbie here. I have read the threads here and they are indeed helpful, like for me who is now eager to work as a nurse in Kuwait.

Just recently, I have 2 applications as Staff Nurse bound to Kuwait. The 1st one offered me a 2-year contract, 8 hrs/day working time, free accommodation, transportation and food allowance but they also told me they are not yet informed of the offered salary. I was told that if I am interested, I wait for their call within 2 weeks for employer,s interview via skype.

As with the other one, they also told me to wait for 1-2 weeks for employer's interview. They said it is a private hospital. They offered 30-50K Php depending on the length of experience, also free accommodation & transportation, the food allowance is included in the salary. I got 3 years working experience as a Staff Nurse. Since I am in the process of making my mind about this and what offer should I accept, I said to them that i am interested and willing to wait for their call.

On the other hand, I am also considering an MOH hospital (government) since I have 3 years working experience. the salary offer are far better than a private hospital.

Any suggestions of agencies that is connected to MOH government hospita in Kuwaitl? I don't know much info about working in Kuwait until I got here, I learned a lot that will surely help me making future decisions, so thank you guys for keeping this thread up to date. :D
