Kuwait MOH

Hi,

I am new to this site and I found it very informative. This would be my first post. I would just like to know if anybody on this board wrote the Kuwait MOH exam last March 18 in PICC? I believe there were 3 agencies who facilitated the exam and interview. In my case I passed the exam and was interviewed by the Kuwait MOH delegates last March 24 at Diamond Hotel- Manila. The agency called me up informing me that I passed the interview and wait for further instructions for the next step. I would just like to hear how many of us are awaiting for possible deployment to Kuwait and any update as to your case will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.

Hi Priof,

Oh really? anyway let's just wait for the progress of our docs.. Visit Visa? is it okay? isnt it Working Visa should they give? any idea about it? besides until now i dont have idea about employers? working area?

Godbless. :)

visit visa is good for 2-3 months only, right? im not pretty sure... anyhow, whenever we get there by visit visa, is it guarantee that we will start working? or wait for the subcons for them to find any hospitals for us???

PIPz... any ideas???

well, i worked in a private hospitals before though i have flat mates who worked in MOH hospitals. when i arrived there i was able to work after 2 days. those who are assigned in MOH usually wait for like 3mos before getting into a hospital.

there is no guarantee that we will start working after we arrive there. It is expected that they will only provide visit visa because the usual processing time for working visa is 6mos. they will only market/look for a hospital for us once we arrive there. So just imagine yourself eating, sleeping and getting bored for 3mos. with regards to the salary, what al essa did was, they gave us 25kd each month(for private hospitals) and started to deduct this amount when we had our first salary from the hospital.

You are also not sure of which area you'll be assigned. Before I indicated in my COE/Resume that I worked in ER but they assigned me in Day Surgery/Endoscopy.

Anyway, goodluck to all of us. please update us here if there are news from your agency. thanks!

Thanks a lot piorf for the vital information. This just confirms about this process being said to me from an insider in the agency I applied with. What took you so long to come and post here in allnurses???(just kidding).

In your case before, was the advertised salary the exact amount you're getting? When will the subcons start applying for work visas? Oh my...I'm getting nervous now...

the salary will be same as the one that is in the contract. havent signed any yet, most probably before we go to kuwait. the problem is, if they dont let us sign a contract before going to kuwait. back then, i have friends who were suppose to work in MOH but were assigned in private hospitals. their salary became the same as those who are working in private hosp, from 380kd to 250kd. \

working visas will be applied by the company once we are there but the processing time before it can be approved is like 3-5mos.

another important thing is the license. in my case, i worked like a patient assistant for 5mos(no iv insertion,no charting etc but the salary is the same) because i dont have my license yet.

guys, dont pay your placement fee without signing a contract first especially now that the placement fee is large. also, dont be too excited if the agency tells you that your visa arrive, because what is important is the plane ticket. as soon as you receive the plane ticket, somewhat you're sure that you'll be going to kuwait.

update us here!

Applicants from Al Bahar in our agency(ADM) got 31 visas. CAnt wait for Gulf employment.
