Guys need some comment/advice here

What if you get job offers not in the nursing field making around roughly 30-40K++ a month ? Would you forget about nursing and set a different career path ?

I am confused.

Stay in the profession where I worked hard to attain or set a different career path for a temporary greener pasture

Hi guys, to nurses in manila. Medical Center Manila, in United Nations Taft Avenue, is currently pooling for applicants for nurses who want to undergo training. It is a 3 months training, and a chance to be hired and absorbed by the hospital depending on performance: Submit the following at the 10th floor nursing service office: Resume with 2x2 picture, PRC Board Rating, TOR, RLE, Diploma, NBI Clearance, Cert of good moral (School or Barangay), Medical Clearance fit to work, Seminars attended certificates. Bring Originals for Validation. Hurry tentative schedule for the training will start on Aug. 15, 2011. Submit ASAP!! You can go and register then submit requirements to be followed.

Medical Center Manila as stated in my post is at United Nations, Taft Avenue.

You can get there through LRT (UN avenue Stop), Jeepney passing through UN Avenue and Taft Avenue, and Buses

I already passed my requirements last Friday. They still need people to fill up the slots for the training to get started. The people at the nursing service office and very accommodating.

If you do not have your ivt training yet, inquire , they also have trainings for that as well.

My friend who went through the process last year informed me that basically the interview is more on the common job interview questions you undertake.

Examples:

1. Tell me about yourself

2. Why you took up nursing

3. Goal 5 years from now

4. Most difficult situation encountered, how you handled it, what was the result , etc

It depends on the mood of the interviewer, sometimes it will be friendly chitchat.

To be safe brush up on your basic nursing skills. Maybe read up on your Nursing fundamentals ... hehe

My bet, it will be just getting to know questions. Don't forget to smile and if you can joke a little to lighten up the mood.

Goodluck. =)

You can sign up first for your slot then just inform them at the office that the documents that you do not have are to be followed. Medical Clearance can be done at any hospital. =)
