Hi everyone! I am scheduled for a final interview at Cardinal Santos on the last week of April.. Do you have any idea on what type of questions would they ask? Is it like, "explain the pathophysiology of blah blah blah...." or anything that would make my nose bleed? (LOL!) Please help me.. I am now starting to review my nursing notes though.. Just want to have an idea how will the interview goes.. And please pray for me as well.. Thanks!

Hi babyanne! ll I know is that in applying for staff nurse position there, you need to have the ff certificates/id in order for you to be scheduled for the initial exam, the Psychometric exam: PRC license, BLS/ACLS certificate/id and IVT license.. After the initial exam is initial interview done by HR.. Next is the Nursing qualifying exam which is composed of 120 items.. Then if you passed the exam, you will be called for the final interview.. The final interview will be done by one of the head nurses there and the nursing director of that hospital.. I feel really nervous everytime I think of that(aargh!) Well, as for now, im trying to read some of notes already, trying to refresh all the knowledge that has been stuck in all hidden areas of my brain(LOL!)..

Hope this helps... :wink2:

To babyanne:

I believe that they are still accepting applicants for staff nurse position provided that you have all the licenses/certifications that they need. In fact, according to one of the staff in the Nursing Office, the next batch for nurses' training would be on May. I think the HR office is open on Mondays-Saturdays 8-5pm, just like any other offices, so they would accommodate you anytime during those hours. :wink2:

The initial exam for me was ok.. It is just like you're taking an IQ test; abstracts, figures, etc.. It is time-pressured though so it's a little nerve-wracking.. :banghead: I'm sure you'll be able to make it.. Godbless on your exam!:)

hi mistiknit.. Im sorry to inform you but they do need the ivt license, not the certificate only.. That is according to the conversation I've heard between one of the HR staff and the applicant when I was in their office for the interview..

Dont you worry, you can apply as soon as you already have the license.. :)

Yes, you need to be there.. You have to show them the IVT card and BLS/ACLS card first before they schedule you for the initial exam.. Resume is not needed.. You only have to bring your resume during the initial interview..

To Nurse Pukyaw:

Yes, you can still apply.. BLS or ACLS card will do..

I don't have a BLS ID but I do have BLS Certificate. Are they strongly require BLS ID? Or they also accept BLS Certificate.
