Final Interview @ Cardinal Santos Medical Center

Published

Hi everyone! I am scheduled for a final interview at Cardinal Santos on the last week of April.. Do you have any idea on what type of questions would they ask? Is it like, "explain the pathophysiology of blah blah blah...." or anything that would make my nose bleed? (LOL!) Please help me.. I am now starting to review my nursing notes though.. Just want to have an idea how will the interview goes.. And please pray for me as well.. Thanks!

Yes, i'm already done with the medical last August 5 and luckily passed. They will just send sms regarding the contract signing that's what the HR told us. The training will start this month. I heard that the first batch of trainees will end on August 15.

Thanks! :) I guess we'll be seeing each other this month if everything goes well. see ya! :):lol2:

Nice :-) How many from your batch were done with the medical exam?

hi folks! i just submitted my application as a staff nurse at csmc this morning. a guard at the hrd approached and asked me what position i'm applying for, and i told him that i'm applying for staff nurse position. he asked me the same questions just like the previous posts here like if i do have an updated bls, ivt, etc..and a board rating of 80%.. :cool:after those routine questions, he said that i could give him my application and he will be the one to submit it to the hr personnel, since the people there were busy doing and planning some renovations at their department. so, i agreed, and handled over him my application. then, i asked the guard to sign in his name, position date, time, and signature in my notebook as a proof that he received my resume and other pertinent documents attached to it (coz i'm sort of oc-oc). :uhoh3:he said to wait for a call from hrd's office about the schedule of exam. i hope that they would consider my application.

:nurse: btw, when you say iq test, is it the same with logic exam or some sort of non-medical/ clinical questions? :confused:i am really excited and a lil' bit anxious about the type of exam, if ever i'm qualified to take that precious exam.. :redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe

thanks for the info and the encouraging words dhawii. I really do appreciate them especially now that im starting to lose hope. :hgu::hgu: and by the way i tried reading back the old posts here and a post around 2009 stated that you need to show your ivt license for the hr to accept your application. well i only have my certificate with me since i just had my training last may. i know it should only take 3 months but until now its still unavailable according to the hospital i had my training with. so is this rule still applicable? or a certificate would be enough?

you're welcome!:) i guess the certificate would be ok. just submit a photocopy of your id if you have it already. to be sure just call CSMC HR department.:)

to all those who had their interview last July 27 at the Nursing Service Office, any update guys?

We had our final interview last Aug 3 and had our medical exam last August 5 or 6 :)

all seven of us who passed the final interview also passed the medical exam... yey!:yeah:

Experience is not required. They accept applications of RNs with updated IVT, BLS and Board rating above 80%. Grab this opportunity for this is rare nowadays. Spread the word to help other nurses who are looking for jobs. :nurse:

You know how we are in our country; it's really difficult for us nurses. More importantly, don't lose hope. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place(Habakkuk 2:3). Ask our Heavenly Father and be expectant of His answer. :)

Correction: not 9 from the last batch... but 12. Thanks.

see you guys tomorrow then!

the text was just like the usual college entrance exam. don't be scared, the difficulty level is okay. it comprises of three parts, first is the abstract then verbal, last is math skills. just bring a jacket with you if ever, because it was quite cold. so it added to my nerves. but everything's good. goodluck. althoug i think they are not really accepting at the moment, maybe in a couple of months or so because the 2nd batch has just started and the interval from the last batch of trainees was 3months. so there, try applying in other institutions as well. (: goodluck
