Hi everyone! I am scheduled for a final interview at Cardinal Santos on the last week of April.. Do you have any idea on what type of questions would they ask? Is it like, "explain the pathophysiology of blah blah blah...." or anything that would make my nose bleed? (LOL!) Please help me.. I am now starting to review my nursing notes though.. Just want to have an idea how will the interview goes.. And please pray for me as well.. Thanks!

to all those who had their interview last July 27 at the Nursing Service Office, any update guys?

hello everyone...just heard this news regarding cardinal santos medical center accepting applicants..do you think they are still accepting applicants up to now? thanks for the answer. God bless!

yes they are still accepting applicants. just be sure your ivt and bls are updated. i just dont know if the positions are filled up already.

hi dihawii, thanks for the reply...My friend and I have already passed the requirements, though our BLS are not yet updated...Hope we can still hear form them,.thanks again =)

Really? Does this mean they have not yet completed the set of trainees they will be deploying next?

For those who had their final interview last September 27, have you had your medical screening? :nurse:

do they entertain RNs without experience? or it is required that you have at least volunteered for a few months in a hospital?

you're welcome! yeah we have to wait patiently.. while waiting you should renew your BLS license to be ready by then.:)

HR told me that they have 25 staff nurse vacancies and out of the hundreds that applied, only 9 passed the process(as of last week of July).. I'm not sure though if they've reached the limit. But they are still accepting applicants.

Experience is not required. They accept applications of RNs with updated IVT, BLS and Board rating above 80%. Grab this opportunity for this is rare nowadays. Spread the word to help other nurses who are looking for jobs. :nurse:

You know how we are in our country; it's really difficult for us nurses. More importantly, don't lose hope. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place(Habakkuk 2:3). Ask our Heavenly Father and be expectant of His answer. :)

oh. perhaps that number applies to those who had their final interview last July 27? Cause we had ours at mid-July and in our batch, only seven passed the process.

I wonder....

Thanks for the reply! :):nurse:

thanks for the info and the encouraging words dhawii. I really do appreciate them especially now that im starting to lose hope. :hgu::hgu: and by the way i tried reading back the old posts here and a post around 2009 stated that you need to show your ivt license for the hr to accept your application. well i only have my certificate with me since i just had my training last may. i know it should only take 3 months but until now its still unavailable according to the hospital i had my training with. so is this rule still applicable? or a certificate would be enough?

I think what the HR meant there is they already have 25 nurses and they only need 5 more. They need 30 nurses all in all and according to the HR, they already have 20+... :)

Yes, they got 9 nurses from the last batch, 7 from the previous batch... and I don't know how many from the first batch.

Yes, i'm already done with the medical last August 5 and luckily passed. They will just send sms regarding the contract signing that's what the HR told us. The training will start this month. I heard that the first batch of trainees will end on August 15.
