Hello to all! I passed my application/requirements at SLMC-QC about a year ago and because my GWA/class ranking was not that impressive, I knew that I should never expect even if my board rating is 80+ %. But then, a month ago I heard from a friend that they are again accepting application so I tried to follow up on my application and submitted new set of requirements since now I have my hospital experience added to my resume. Now, I have finished all the exams including the medical exam.
Just have a little faith..Good luck!

    To lensio: Goodluck dude!

To miaka84: Congratulations! Can we get in touch? What batch are you in?

To tron22: If your BMI is above the normal value, try to lose weight now. I have a groupmate who failed in the medical exam because his BMI is high, luckily DCA gave him a chance - that he should be able to have a normal BMI within 2months.

i called dca an hour ago, they said they are not accepting applicants anymore. i passed my resume 2 weeks ago and am afraid that they won't process it anymore because they already stopped entertaining applicants..

What!? This news is disheartening. If this is true, then, ...
I passed my application 9 days ago... Really sad.

kyuketsuki15: group 3..how about you? i really don't know how many from our batch passed the medical exam and made it to the final listing. one of our batchmate called the NSO to ask when will the training possibly start because she will be going out of the country for a week or two. sadly,as of that moment there was no schedule yet as to when our training will possibly start.

To miaka84: Hi! I'm from Group1. Sad to say, our leader didn't pass the medical exam... I called DCA earlier, as of the moment they are transferring 150 GC Nurses to QC to fill in the areas with inadequate staff. This isn't good for us. Our training is postponed until 1st quarter of 2010.

As of the moment, SLMC has temporarily closed the application for the position of Nurse Staff due to the bulk of application that they are receiving. The pigeon boxes (there are two, i guess) have plasters on it with a note saying that they are temporarily closing the application process. I went there earlier this afternoon. Let us just wait for further announcements.

to lensio: just relax and be confident with your answers..the interview is somehow an overview of your knowledge, skills, and attitude. good luck!

    kyuketsuki15: wow,1st quarter of 2010?! that's really sad..
i thought we would be starting early December considering how fast the processing of our application have been.
