Good question and we also asked them this during the orientation. NO, there is no guarantee for employment. This is just a pure training accredited by PRC. However, this is the training where they can consider applicants for hiring.
Will you be informed right away if you are called in for PGNT or NSET? I am just confused because the text I received is for staff nurse position. They said that we will undergo a 3-month training before we will be recommended and hired. are they referring to NSET then? Thanks.

Yup, when I received their text, they specifically mentioned PGNT.

I believe it's NSET. You must be very lucky if that's the case. Goodluck!

PS: would you mind posting the text message u received from them? Thanks!

Hi guys, me and my friend submitted our requirements last september, 1st week. Then we were told that the PGNT batch 5 will probably start by september, then we followed up last week and told again that it will be moved by october. Did some of you have an idea of when the next batch of PGNT will be called for initial screening?

Also, is it true that you should have a board rating higher than 80% for you to be qualified in the PGNT?

Hi, did they told you when in October? Is it the start of the PGNT or the screening of applicants?Did you submit a GWA and a class ranking from your school? How did you submit the requirements, did you put it in a box or did you give it to a personnel from HR? Thanks so much

1 person there said that they will call the applicants in october. i submit it personally together with the GWA and class ranking.. Is it also true that we must be 80% above board rating and have a GWA of 2 and above?

Did you also submit the other requirements such as board certificate, TOR etc? Because if I'm not mistaken, slmc QC will not entertain those who submitted incomplete requirements as it was stated on the pigeon box.

Btw I'm just interested so that I can also inform my other friends.

I guess the note in the pigeon box is quite misleading. I've seen their post in the bulletin outside their ofc. The rqmts are just resume, tor, board rating, 2x2 pic with white background.

UPDATE: I just learned that ER Staff Nurse Position is not under the Division of Nursing. They are under different department, perhaps the Medical Dept (not sure). ER Nurses have different uniform too.
