Employment process @ St. Luke's Medical Center (e.rod) - Page 47
Register Today!- Aug 10, '12 by arbie101During the orientation, they made it clear that there is NO guarantee for employment. The PGNT was designed to cater quality training for post-grad nurses. If you are planing to apply for employment, this might not be the best option for you. Unless you take the risk to prove to them that they must hire you. "There is NO vancancy @ SLMC-QC", this I heard during the orientation.
Their pre-employment training was called Nurse Staff Effectiveness Training (NSET) which is according to them, they stopped/terminated this. But I think this is just temporary.
- Aug 11, '12 by Ar-enBut it has the same process right? you have to drop your reqts. in the pigeon box? and wait for a call or text, I mean applying for the PGNT and NSET you have to drop your resume in the box. THANKS
, cus I already passed my reqts. in the pigeon box last july 26 and still no call :|
- Aug 11, '12 by kayern07They changed their pre-employment training. Everyone must undergo PGNT, then pass the program, before being able to attend ISF, NSET, etc for a month (after your third phase in PGNT). Hope this helps.cheezy_curls likes this.
- Aug 11, '12 by arbie101Yes, same. I passed my reqts. last May 4. and just became current this upcoming batch.
- Aug 11, '12 by arbie101Quote from kayern07I believe this is the new process. After PGNT, if qualified/based on performance, they will advance you to NSET. But they avoided us to presume such during the orientation. They changed their pre-employment training. What do you mean they avoided you? - Aug 12, '12 by kayern07Quote from arbie101You are not supposed to presume yet in case you haven't finished and passed the PGNT yet. Maybe that's what they mean.I believe this is the new process. After PGNT, if qualified/based on performance, they will advance you to NSET.
