During the orientation, they made it clear that there is NO guarantee for employment. The PGNT was designed to cater quality training for post-grad nurses. If you are planing to apply for employment, this might not be the best option for you. Unless you take the risk to prove to them that they must hire you. "There is NO vancancy @ SLMC-QC", this I heard during the orientation.

Their pre-employment training was called Nurse Staff Effectiveness Training (NSET) which is according to them, they stopped/terminated this. But I think this is just temporary.

But it has the same process right? you have to drop your reqts. in the pigeon box? and wait for a call or text, I mean applying for the PGNT and NSET you have to drop your resume in the box. THANKS , cus I already passed my reqts. in the pigeon box last july 26 and still no call :|

They changed their pre-employment training. Everyone must undergo PGNT, then pass the program, before being able to attend ISF, NSET, etc for a month (after your third phase in PGNT). Hope this helps.

I believe this is the new process. After PGNT, if qualified/based on performance, they will advance you to NSET. But they avoided us to presume such during the orientation.

You are not supposed to presume yet in case you haven't finished and passed the PGNT yet. Maybe that's what they mean.

Yes from batch 1. Most of them actually are now under the NSET program.
