Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply in SLMC-e.rod, though I heard that they will start the hiring process this coming September.. Do you have any idea on how many exams and interviews you will undergo before they will accept you for the training? Let me share with you the requirements needed: resume, photocopy of PRC license, board rating, board rating certificate, class ranking, GWA, TOR, diploma, and 2 pcs. 2x2 pics (white background)..

Your replies would be greatly appreciated..

Godbless! :wink2:

UPDATE: PGNT Batch 4 will start on the 22nd of August.

Hi arbie101, i just want to ask if I apply at around next week of august would I still be able to qualify for that august 22 pgnt? I just resigned from another institution after 6 months of experience there i also have a board rating of 80%+. When do you advise me to submit my requirements?

Can somebody advise me. Because Im thinking of submitting my credentials to st.lukes qc. I have 6 months of experience from another also known institution. How long do the hiring process take? Like do I wait for years before a call from HR commences? Can anyone describe the flow of hiring process in st.lukes? Thanks!

They started calling applicants for PGNT Batch 4 Orientation last August 2. There are only 50 available slots per batch. They always call about a hundred of applicants to attend the orientation. And they still accommodate applicants who were not able to secure a slot from the previous batch. So it may be quite impossible for you to be included in the August batch. But I suggest, submit your requirements as soon as you can. Applicants are accommodated in a "first come, first serve basis".

During the orientation, they made it clear that there is NO guarantee for employment. The PGNT was designed to cater quality training for post-grad nurses. If you are planing to apply for employment, this might not be the best option for you. Unless you take the risk to prove to them that they must hire you. "There is NO vancancy @ SLMC-QC", this I heard during the orientation.

Their pre-employment training was called Nurse Staff Effectiveness Training (NSET) which is according to them, they stopped/terminated this. But I think this is just temporary. :)

But it has the same process right? you have to drop your reqts. in the pigeon box? and wait for a call or text, I mean applying for the PGNT and NSET you have to drop your resume in the box. THANKS :), cus I already passed my reqts. in the pigeon box last july 26 and still no call :|

They changed their pre-employment training. Everyone must undergo PGNT, then pass the program, before being able to attend ISF, NSET, etc for a month (after your third phase in PGNT). Hope this helps.

Yes, same. I passed my reqts. last May 4. and just became current this upcoming batch.

I believe this is the new process. After PGNT, if qualified/based on performance, they will advance you to NSET. But they avoided us to presume such during the orientation.

What do you mean they avoided you?

You are not supposed to presume yet in case you haven't finished and passed the PGNT yet. Maybe that's what they mean.
