Sep 28, '12Quote from frizzy43good for you ms frizzy43, i would just like to ask if you already have previous experience as ER staff? seems like you underwent a different application process. I mean, application for staff and not for PGNT? but im not really sure since im not from SLMC, i hope soon ill be able to be part of the team.I received a text to undergo exam and interview for ER staff nurse position. I went there and passed the exam and interview last September 26. I was told by the HR to wait for a text for the panel interview. After that, they said that I will undergo a medical exam and a 3 month training. If I pass the training and gets recommended, I will be hired. I am just confused if what training I will undergo, is it the PGNT with fees or the NSET? because I have read in other comments that the last batch of NSET was already conducted in March. can anyone please enlighten me? I will not proceed with my application if it is PGNT. thank you so much

Sep 28, '12I passed my requirements last September 20 and someone called me i think one day or two days after that, number i don't recognize. Im just a little worried if that number is from St Lukes. Is it okay to ask if their number is private or the usual one?
By the way, just for additional information, i lack class ranking and GWA but i still passed my requirements, but i will pass another requirements again after completing it. Anyone knows how long will it take for me to get class ranking and GWA (I'm from the province and my school is at ubelt area)? Thank you so much in advance -

Sep 28, '12Quote from PHLnurseSuch a relief. Thank you PHLnurseI don't think that's them, minimum waiting time before you get called is around 3-4 weeks
By the way, i went at SLMC QC last January to pass my requirements, then the HR at Nursing Department asked me to take the exam at 1pm but Im not ready that time, im still taking care of my grandma. I assumed just like any other hospital they will text you after a month or two just for the IQ test. So I withdrew my application, chose my Lola first. Not for me that time, I hope by this time -

Sep 29, '12Good question and we also asked them this during the orientation. NO, there is no guarantee for employment. This is just a pure training accredited by PRC. However, this is the training where they can consider applicants for hiring.

Sep 29, '12Will you be informed right away if you are called in for PGNT or NSET? I am just confused because the text I received is for staff nurse position. They said that we will undergo a 3-month training before we will be recommended and hired. are they referring to NSET then? Thanks.

Oct 3, '12Hi guys, me and my friend submitted our requirements last september, 1st week. Then we were told that the PGNT batch 5 will probably start by september, then we followed up last week and told again that it will be moved by october. Did some of you have an idea of when the next batch of PGNT will be called for initial screening?
Also, is it true that you should have a board rating higher than 80% for you to be qualified in the PGNT?
