Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply in SLMC-e.rod, though I heard that they will start the hiring process this coming September.. Do you have any idea on how many exams and interviews you will undergo before they will accept you for the training? Let me share with you the requirements needed: resume, photocopy of PRC license, board rating, board rating certificate, class ranking, GWA, TOR, diploma, and 2 pcs. 2x2 pics (white background)..

Your replies would be greatly appreciated..

Godbless! :wink2:

I'm currently on the clinical phase of the training.

You may want to inquire about how to enter the ancillary nursing services such as HD and other stuff (and ER too, though they are not thru ancillary). As for the positions for the general nursing floors, I think they are not currently accepting for those positions as they already have a couple of batches doing their didactic, who hopefully will be deployed on those general nursing units once their clinical phase ends.

I understand, hmm i'll just try to call them about those alternatives, thank you :)

I hope that somebody will still update us here from time to time.. hay..

hello fellow RNs!

I need you help. According to the SLMC-QC, tomorrow is the last day for the payment for PGNT... I don't know if I will still pursue this application. Is this first come first serve basis? According to them, there's no guarantee for employment but to anyone who knows more about this, is there any possibility for employment???? Thanks.

uhm just wanna ask, what's the difference between PGNT and NSET? and which is better? I mean afterwards do they both lead to employment?

It depends if you pass the medical exam and training..:)

hello, i received the same text like antoine23 did about the post graduate nursing training thing... unfortunately, i didn't attend the orientation as i was still in the province at that time... and they texted me the night before the orientation... so it is logistically impossible for me to attend it... i texted them about my situation but haven't received any response.

I just want to ask about this PGNT? anyone who have info on this thing? those who attended the orientation maybe? is this free or you have to pay?

you have to pay the PGNT training as per info from a friend of mine is a 3month training without assurance of being employed.. I not sure how much but from what he said it I 9k all in all.. but the payment is per month so 3k per month that makes 9k.. that's all I know.. hope that helped you a little..:)
