Hi guys! My application for Medical City is in progress. I'm scheduled for an examination next week.

Anyone here who has passed the exam/s and interviews for Medical City? What is the exam like?

Any particular topics I need to focus on?

Is it true it has enumeration and identification items?

How many interviews will i expect after passing the exam?

Do they have panel interviews?

I really want to work at Medical City so I need all the tips and help I can get apart from my studying and preparations.:nurse:

@guitarista: for the final interview focus on the med surg topics like dm, m. Gravis etc. The interviewer will ask anyting about the topic from nursing diagnosis, drugs, intervention, etc. They will

Notify you after 3 days. Then they will text you for some instructions and requirements then the waiting game is ON.

I completed the process last may with all the requirement and the hR said we will start by june1 or july1 till now no signal from the hR. My co trainee said we will start on september ---- long wait!

To all: i don't think average % is an issue my co trainee's ave is 77 but she passed the interview and all

Hi XOXO. I think we are going to be in the same batch of training. It's been a long wait. Are you sure that the next training schedule will be in September? Because the last time I called HR they said it will be this coming August. I also have a friend who is already employed as Staff Nurse in TMC, she said the next sched will be next month. Are you sure about it being in Sept? THANKS :)

No need to worry on the psychological exam. So easy. Basic logic and situational questions only. No need to study for psychilogical exam coz they only test your attitude and how you deal with people :)

@zephrine: yes. I receive a text. Our training will be this coming 2nd of sept :)

Nobody fails in the psych exam deary..unless you're retarded or something hahaha. Anyway, let me give you an example:

The only thing that's problematic in this section is the time limit.

Have you ever taken an IQ test dear? That's pretty much it. Abstract reasoning, Personality tests and the like.

About the passing rate? Most Institutions do not really divulge examination results. Everything in the APPLICATION PROCESS is supposed to be CONFIDENTIAL. In this case with TMC, its just a matter of getting a text/call from the HR for the schedule of the INITIAL and FINAL INTERVIEW or NOT. If you do, then you pass if you don't then better luck next time. :)
