by mrniceguy181 Jul 20, '12Hi guys. I just want to know ur suggestions as to what my primary question is concerned. I really want to become a military nurse but i just called the office of the chief nurse and they told me the application is on hold status. However, i have been thinking of joining the PAF as an officer undergoing their PAFROPP program. Though i really want to join the nurse corps, seems like i have no choice but to kinda give up on it due to timely processing and the many PENDING applications from yesteryears. Haha. What do u think guys? Thanks =)

One said that the demand is really at an all-time low for hiring and for any real need for military nurses and in this case, it's also due to no real world conflicts in the SE Asian countries.Hi, I had my application last feb 2011 at the chief nurse's office in camp aguinaldo and i already took and passed their initial exam, but until now, I have not received any call or txt from them. however, the informant told me that they still have pending apps since 2009 batch of applicants..last time i heard from someone i know they already reached their quota for 2011 training.

But everyone is watching the international issue of the Japanese govt. taking over some Chinese islands that the Chinese are claiming is their territory. Should a conflict happen between the two countries and other ones becomes involved, it could spark the need to build a reserve of PH nurses, but on the flip side, they could change from hiring the more experienced PH nurses.
