Take the IELTS instead. My sister took the TSE about 4times and always got a score of 40. IELTS is better because it is not as spontaneous as TSE. You are not under time pressure to finish your sentences or answers unlike TSE. Topics of discussion would usually dwell on your interest, job, hobby or just being plainly describe yourself. And you can know the results within two weeks. By the way, I passed my TSE on the second try. GOOD LUCK! :p

hi. talking about the ielts.. i suggest you take it rather than the tse. i have to say it is easier and cheaper. but you have to practice your listening skills since i have some friends who failed in the listening part. i suggest you watch a lot of bbc news on cable 'cause it sounds more or less the same in the ielts listening test because of the accent. by the way you need to get an over-all band score of at least 6.5 and at least 7.0 for the speaking part to obtain a visa screen. keep in touch.

hi!:) Im about to graduate this april and yet i still dont have plans after this...........can you give me tips or rather advice what to in preparing my self to go abroad..............:)

read...read and read...books for nclex. like kaplan, lippincot, saunders, nsna. practice answering questions. at least 50 questions a day. good luck. :)

Start the paperwork as soon as possible as that is going to take you the longest. If you are wanting to go to the US to work, please see my sticky under "International Forums" to get all of the information and know up front what is required of you.

Good luck in fulfilling your dreams.................... :balloons:

anxious kse we will be the first batch to sit for the new set of nclex questions and higher passing rate. Pls. send positive vibes !... staying in nursing school is more difficult than getting the NCLEX i think!

if you guys have questions about work opportunities in manhattan, let me know, maybe i can help.

can't wait for 3 things : summer, graduatuion and passing the nclex. Trabaho? wag muna.... need a vacation BADLY :)

goodluck guys!

can u give some sample questions that ussually appears in the exams! Thank you.........:p

kamusta po................pwede hong makijoin dito.........

The questions will for the most part be similar to the previuos ones, they will not be changing the format of all of the questions...............The exam will differ for each nurse taking it so no matter what examples they give you, you may never see something similar.

You should try to do as many questions form the different review bookds that you can possibly can. Examples are Saunders, Mosby, and Lippincott. I know that there are others but this is what we use in my school.

Hope that this helps.................. :balloons:

Hello countrymen. Good to know someone had the time to post something to let the world know we are a diverse group. Good to hear fromyou all

just casted my ballots a while ago for the national elections. though i'll be leaving for clearwater florida pretty soon, the philippines will always be my country. i call on to my fellow nurses (whether in the philppines or are now in the usa) to please pray for our country. let us pray that this is going to be a peaceful election and that the elected officials will really perform their duties for the filipinos and not just for personal gains.
