Hello there, fellow RNs! Have you ever applied for a staff nurse position this year at The Medical City? How was your application, pre-employment, training, and hiring experience? Share us your thoughts!

Hi Dhes! Were you invited for employment at TMC Clark or Ortigas? I am a nurse trainee at TMC Clark and our NTAP Didactics just started today. There were some other trainees who missed the core training last week but were allowed to join the NTAP today, and I believe that some of the trainees in our batch will be deployed to Ortigas instead of Clark. You might want to consider Clark too if you're really aiming for TMC Ortigas. I'd be glad to answer some of your concerns :) Have a good day!

Wow! I am actually confused, I started my application in Ortigas then after a month of not hearing from them I received a text message from TMC Clark asking if I wish to continue my application with them and was invited for a pre employment exam. I am not sure if this is really a continuation of my application since I already took a lot exams in Ortigas or If I need to go back from the first step. I was never interviewed in Ortigas so I believed I already failed haha! I am just not sure why my application was forwarded to TMC Clark that's why I am asking if someone from here experienced the same thing. Oh I thought if you started your NTAP there then you will be automatically be deployed in Clark. Thank you so much Caloy! You're a great help!! Enjoy the rest of the day as well :)

It's sort of crazy, really, because I know someone who intended to apply at TMC Clark but due to reasons unknown, her application was assessed by Ortigas! I'd like to think that they got their papers all mixed up haha A few of my co-trainees with the same case as yours took the exams a long time ago but were not called had to start again with the application (although this might not be the case in Ortigas). And yeah, I kinda feel uneasy with their very sudden notices haha. Anyway, good luck with whatever plans you have! Let's keep our hopes up for a good career :)

Thank you so much Caloy! The HR in Clark is very accommodating, I will try to call him tomorrow to follow up. I actually have other plans, but let's see this might work out for the mean time. Just one last question, are there a lot of trainees there? Thank you so much for answering my questions. Good luck to you as well! All the best for our career. Thank you! :nurse::up::)

hi Caloy, hwhat is that bed capacity of TMC clark?

I just called HRD Clark today and they said that they checked my application with TMC Ortigas and said that I would need to re apply after 6 months since I did not pass the technical or nursing exam. How is that even possible if I have text confirmation stating that I passed and have already taken the IQ and Psych already? That's really crazy plus I am very sure that I did pass the exam.

Anyway, I have already moved on with this a long time ago and already have a job offer somewhere else. Thanks Caloy for your time answering my questions and fissure for being active on this topic! I think we are all on the right track for our career! Good luck everyone :):nurse:

Our batch, which is the pioneer for Clark, started with 75 trainees last week, however, some of us were automatically dropped from the list because of only a single absence from the NTAP. Now, we're 61 (59 - Clark, 2 - Ortigas) and we will be divided into three batches for the clinical exposure at Ortigas. :)

Hi. I guess you should try TMC clark. TMC is currently having an expansion, thats is the reasons they are having a mass hiring in ortigas cause they will deploy thier senior nurses in CLark, guam

The current NTAP training has a 100+ nurses, i gueaa the biggest batch this year cause they usually get 40.
