2012 nursing jobs and training updates

Good day fellow nurses! I just want to give some updates regarding some hospitals that I happened to visit last December 2011. I hope many will be willing to share some info too. Let's help each other out. =)

Chinese Gen - accepting applications ONLY if you graduated from their school

San Lazaro - deadline of applications for RNHeals here was unfortunately last December. Too bad I didn't make it. Ha-ha

Medical City - as usual, logging on their log sheet is the first step if you're a commoner. If with backer, expect the process to be faster. (Too bad I don't know anyone haha) Check out their page on FB. The Medical City: Career Opportunities. Training for the next batch will tentatively start by first quarter so waiting for another 3 months is a no-brainer especially if you haven't had any exams and interviews yet.

St. Lukes (QC) - according to someone I know, training would probably start by January. Tentative.

Manila Doctors - HR is accepting applications but that is for pooling (subject to training with a fee).

NKTI - accepting applications BUT is very strict with requirements. Minimum of 6 months paid hosp experience from at least a hundred bed cap hospital. Geez! That's where my requirements flanked. I have all the others except the bed cap of the hospital where I came from. See NKTI's website. nkti.gov.ph

__Please feel free to correct any information if you know/believe is misleading. I hope others will try to contribute too in this thread. God bless us nurses and Happy new job hunting year! Ha-ha

St. Luke's Medical Center (along E. Rodriguez St., Quezon City). Submittred my resume on the pigeonhole. It's on the 5th floor. Here are the requirements as I remember them (Some requirements might be missing, I haven't listed them down, sorry ^^"). Please check out the St. Lukes' allnurses.com thread for more info (https://allnurses.com/philippine-nursing/employment-process-st-416808.html):

* Resume

* 2 pcs 2" x 2" ID picture

* PRC license (photocopy)

* Certificate of GWA / Class Ranking

National Children's Hospital. Went to the HR Department located at the 2nd floor. I don't think they're hiring. The staff we were talking to was surprised that we were applying, lol. But still, they accepted our documents. It never hurts to try. ;)

De Los Santos Medical Center. Proceed to the back of the hospital. On the right on the parking lot, there's another entrance with a Doctor's Entrance sign. The guard there accepts resumes. The application requirements are:

* Resume

* I.D. pictures: 1"X1" (1 copy), 2"x2" (2 copies)

* TOR

* Diploma

* RLE

* Board Rating

* PRC Card / PTP

* Cedula

* NBI clearance

* BIR 2306

* SSS Card or E1/E6 form

* Philhealth Card

* Certificate of Good Moral Character (from 2 references)

and also, have you heard? Martinez memorial hospital in Caloocan will be conducting a skills training this Feb. I went there last last week to get my IVT license and affirmed the training. Training fee is 5k, of which 1k must be given upon reservation.. It will last for 3months and you'll be rotated to different areas.

for st lukes medical center one of the requirements is to have board rating of 80 and above...how about for those who doesnt have 80 and have rating but with experience (as volunteer nurse) will they still have a chance?
